Anaheim, CA, Wednesday, June 20, 2007 — The first two days of the Technologies for Worship Conference at INFOCOMM saw an exponential increase in attendance for both the seminars and the Technologies For Worship Pavilion® from past years.
The Technologies for Worship Seminars were praised by attendees. Held on the concourse level of the Hilton Hotel next to the Anaheim Convention Center, the seminar topics range from basic to advanced, including topics on Internet streaming, audio compression, DVD duplication and acoustical behavior, to name a few.
Reactions from church attendees has been extremely positive. “This is my first time coming, and I’ve received good, practical information that I’ll be able to use in our day-to-day ministry. I would definitely suggest coming to them.” said Brandon Russell, technical volunteer at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church in Ringgold, GA.
The Technologies for Worship Pavilion®, pictured above, has been consistently busy. Shelagh Rogers, founder of TFWM and the Technologies for Worship Conference, stated; “Show attendees are eager to utilize our educational tracts to learn more about how they can serve their ministries. The hands-on workshops we offer at our Pavilion have been very well-attended. This has been an amazing experience.”
Technologies for Worship Magazine anticipates that the educational breakout sessions as well as the incredibly popular exhibit floor pavilion will continue to expand as an educational center of interest for churches.
"We are only seeing the beginning of this." expands Rogers. "Our goal is to continue to bring churches together with the people who can show them how to acheive excellence in their productions and services. We believe the Technologies for Worship Conference is truly accomplishing that goal."
The InfoComm 2007 Conference continues through Thursday, where TFWM is presenting more seminars and more hands-on workshops. For more information, please visit http://www.tfwm.com
