Production Resource Group (PRG) Acquires Hi-Tech Rentals
New Windsor, NY—July 2, 2008—Production Resource Group, L.L.C., a leading entertainment technology company, has purchased Hi-Tech Rentals, Inc. (“Hi-Tech”), PRG’s chairman and CEO Jere Harris announced today.
Headquartered in Atlanta, with additional facilities in Orlando and Las Vegas, Hi-Tech supplies audio, video, lighting, and related services for trade shows, corporate meetings, and other events. “Hi-Tech has built an outstanding reputation, a solid inventory and a strong customer base in these growing market segments,” says Harris. “They will be an excellent fit with our other capabilities and markets, and we expect them to be an important part of our company going forward.”

Dyess will continue to oversee the Hi-Tech operations.
Hi-Tech will continue to operate out of its Atlanta office and warehouse, which will become a key depot for PRG’s products and services. “The Hi-Tech team is very excited about this transaction,” observed Dyess. “We are all very aware of PRG's market-leading positions in a variety of entertainment categories and it’s clear to us that PRG values their people and understands that while the technology is a "must have,” the people ultimately make the difference."
