Aurora Multimedia's V-Tune Pro HD Digital Tuner Wins SCN/InfoComm 2009 Installation Product Award in 'Most Innovative Video Processing Product' Category
MORGANVILLE, N.J. — June 30, 2009 — Aurora Multimedia today announced that its V-Tune Pro HD™ next-generation professional digital tuner was honored with a SCN/InfoComm 2009 Installation Product Award. Presented at InfoComm's annual A/V Awards Ceremony on June 16, the V-Tune Pro HD was chosen as a winner in the "Most Innovative Video Processing Product" category.
This year's SCN/InfoComm Installation Product Awards showcased the most innovative install-specific products introduced in 2008. The winners in each category were selected by SCN's readers after a month of voting. For the category of "Most Innovative Video Processing Product," readers chose the V-Tune Pro HD, a total tuning solution for any integrated system, whether it requires legacy NTSC tuning or ATSC/QAM capability.

The V-Tune Pro HD is LAN-addressable and IPTV-ready, capable of decoding MPEG2, MPEG4, and H.264. As with all Aurora Multimedia products, the tuner is absolutely integrator-friendly. Intuitive RS-232 command sets provide reliable two-way communication via traditional control systems, in addition to IP-based control for networked arrays. A host of video output ports support composite video, component video, RGB, and HDMI. Audio is supported with both unbalanced RCA connections and SPDIF coaxial digital audio.
