Digidesign Kicks Off the Raise Your Level Tour

Pro Tools|HD roadshow offers free hands-on seminars in select cities

DALY CITY, Calif., (August 15, 2008) — Digidesign announced today the opening dates of its Raise Your Level tour. Beginning August 19, 2008, Digidesign product specialists will hold free seminars in select cities across the United States and Canada, highlighting the powerful features of Pro Tools|HD® in music recording and post production. The seminars will also offer extensive coverage of the ICON D-Command™ ES console, showcasing its powerful capability and workflow efficiency.

Raise Your Level attendees will learn how to create professional-quality productions by utilizing the power of Pro Tools|HD—the same state-of-the-art technology at the heart of the world’s top recording and post-production facilities. Topics will cover the recording and mixing process from creation to completion, with insider tips such as working with popular Pro Tools® plug-ins to enhance your audio, making loop-based music with Digidesign® Transfuser™, and using D-Command ES to streamline mixing, automation, and MIDI editing.

“We’ve heard from a growing number of people who want to gain a competitive advantage in the music or post production industries,” remarks Max Gutnik, Digidesign’s marketing manager for professional products. “They know Pro Tools|HD is used in more major recording, post production, and broadcast studios worldwide, and they’re interested in finding out how they can move their own productions to the next level. By attending these events, they gain insight and information on the advantages of Pro Tools|HD, ICON consoles, and related products, and they can ask our product specialists questions and get some great deals on gear.”

Raise Your Level seminars will be held in New York, Los Angeles, Nashville, Atlanta, and several other cities. Information on dates and registration are available on the Digidesign website.
