FULL COMPASS SYSTEMS TO OFFICIALLY BREAK GROUND FOR ITS NEW 140,000 SQUARE FOOT FACILITY
Madison, WI – On Monday, August 4, 2008, Jonathan and Susan Lipp of Full Compass Systems will officiate over a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of construction on their new 140,000 square foot building located at 9801 Mineral Point Road in Madison, Wisconsin. Local media, politicians, company employees and other guests will be in attendance to participate in the celebration. A complimentary luncheon will follow the ceremony.
Full Compass, one of the nation’s largest audio, video, A/V and lighting equipment retailers, (currently located in Middleton, Wisconsin) has been experiencing rapid growth over the last 5 years. The new facility will allow the company to accommodate the continuation of the exceptional customer service they have been known for since 1977.
The building will include 80,000 square feet of warehouse space, a large showroom, expanded space for sales and administrative offices, a recorded sound museum (that will be open to the public), two fully equipped production studios and an employee cafeteria offering reduced priced breakfast and lunch. The facility, which will be built on 15 acres, is being designed to accommodate future growth as well.
“We are incredibly excited to have achieved the growth that has brought us to this milestone in our history,” President Susan Lipp stated, “The new building will provide the necessary room and amenities to allow us to continue focusing on the highest quality service for our customers.”
CEO Jonathan Lipp added, “Our warehouse will be twice the size in the new building which will enhance our ability to increase on-hand inventory. Our nationwide customer base will benefit from a more complete line of same-day shipping options.”
Construction is due for completion in the spring of 2009.
