D&M Holdings Forms New Sales and Marketing Group for Professional Products in the Americas; Makes Multiple Executive Appointments

New Group Strengthens D&M Holdings' Commitment to Professional Audio Market

Mahwah, N.J. -- Oct. 5, 2008 -- D&M Holdings Inc. today announced it has formed a new operational group to oversee sales and marketing of its professional products in the Americas. Named the Business and Professional Group - Americas, it unites all D&M Holdings' professional businesses under one sales and marketing banner throughout the region. The Business and Professional Group - Americas will manage the Allen & Heath, Calrec Audio, Denon DJ, Denon Professional, and Marantz Professional brands.

D&M Holdings acquired Calrec Audio in August 2007 and Allen & Heath in April 2008. Adding to the existing D&M Professional brands, the acquisitions broadened the company's offerings in the professional market to include broadcast and installed live sound.

"In today s complex technology and business environment, staying close to customers is a major key to success," said Bob Weissburg, president of D&M Holdings, Americas. "Creating a regional sales and marketing group for D&M's professional companies enables us to work more closely with our customers, dealers, and distributors. As we grow our presence in the professional market, customers will reap real benefits from our stronger resources and expanded product offerings."

Executive Appointments
Concurrently, the company announced several appointments to the newly created group's executive team.

Courtney Spencer was named senior vice president, Business and Professional Group - Americas. He will oversee sales and marketing for all of D&M's professional brands in the Americas.

Spencer has more than 30 years' experience in professional audio. For 12 years, he was a vice president and general manager for Sony Electronics' Broadcast and Professional Group, where he directed sales and marketing for the company s professional audio business. In his career, Spencer has held executive positions with leading pro audio manufacturers, pro audio retailers, and facility design/acoustical consulting firms.

D&M also named sales and marketing executives responsible for the brands within the Business and Professional Group.

Calrec:
Jim Wilmer was promoted to director of sales for Calrec Audio. Wilmer was Calrec's U.S. sales manager for the past eight years, during which time Calrec's sales grew 500 percent. Wilmer has moved from the U.K. and is now based in D&M s Americas headquarters. Wilmer reports to Spencer.

Claude Hill was appointed regional sales manager for Calrec for the central and eastern U.S. and for Latin America. He reports to Jim Wilmer. A well-respected veteran of the broadcast audio industry, Hill served 15 years as vice president of sales and marketing for Harrison Consoles.

D&M Professional:
Paul Mathis continues as senior vice president of sales and marketing for D&M Professional - Americas, which includes Denon DJ, Denon Professional, and Marantz Professional. Mathis reports to Spencer.

To further strengthen sales and customer support of the D&M Professional brands, the company named Neil Altneu as director of sales for Denon DJ. Altneu most recently served at Pioneer Electronics, where he helped develop its DJ business during the last decade. Peter Papageorge continues as director of sales for Denon Professional and Marantz Professional. Papageorge and Altneu report to Mathis.

Allen & Heath:
Under Spencer's supervision, American Music & Sound continues to distribute Allen & Heath products in the U.S., while Erickson Pro distributes the products in Canada.

Steve Baker, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Latin America, will continue to manage D&M Professional and Allen & Heath in Latin America in collaboration with the Business and Professional Group - Americas team.

"We now have a strong leadership team in place, with decades of senior-level experience in the professional market," Weissburg said. "As demand for our products increases, this leadership team will enable us to better manage our growth and provide customers and business partners with the superior support they expect from D&M. We are well positioned for the future."
