Elation's Design Beam 300E Does Triple Duty As Spot, Wash or Long Throw Effects Projector With Wireless DMX
LOS ANGELES --When budgets get tighter, resourceful lighting designers look to get more versatility out of the products they purchase. Enter the new Design Beam 300E from Elation Professional. This rugged, reliable and user-friendly 300-watt DMX-compatible moving head does triple duty as a spot, wash or long throw effect, giving you the best of three worlds for the price of one.
What’s more, the Design Beam 300E can perform all three functions reliably with no messy wires attached! That’s because this innovative fixture includes a built-in wireless DMX receiver (EWDMX), allowing it to be controlled wirelessly by Elation’s WDMXT transmitter.
The newest member of Elation’s Design 300 Series of compact-size, high-output moving heads, the Design Beam 300E is equipped with a 300-watt Fast Fit Phillips lamp. Its high-output concentrated light effect of 33,000 lux delivers crystal clear illumination as a spot or a wash. A very tight narrow fixed beam angle of 7.5° gives the fixture’s bright light even more impact. Aside from its brilliant light output, the fixture’s Philips lamp is also easy to change. A 32-character digital LCD display also contributes to the Design Beam 300E’s user-friendliness.
Lighting professionals will find that the Design Beam 300E’s versatile features list gives them greater flexibility to bring their creative visions to life -- from washing a background wall, to spotlighting a stage or house of worship service, to throwing vividly colored light over a dance floor. The fixture features CMY color mixing, 8 static replaceable dichroic colors, 6 rotating indexing gobos, a rotating indexing prism, variable frost, a dimmer/strobe and 18 DMX channels. Another feature that contributes to the unit’s versatility is its 630° pan/tilt lock and 540° pan x 265° tilt.
