With an MSRP of $290.00 US each, the C3SE is a Cardioid condenser microphone designed to be suspended in places of Worship, conference halls, theatres, etc. It is engineered in high quality brass and has a slimline design.

Unlike other hanging microphones, the capsule of the C3SE is mounted on a miniature gooseneck and knuckle joint combination. This configuration allows the head to rotate almost 90 degrees vertically to facilitate optimum positioning. The assembly is connected to a combined suspension and signal cable of 25ft that terminates in a TA3F connector.

The PPA (Phantom Power adaptor) is in line and terminated with a standard 3 Pin Male XLR connector.

Optimized response for consistent sound quality, ease of adjustment, robust construction and aesthetic design make the C3SE a very versatile microphone for suspended applications.

The TASCAM SS-CDR1, valued at $1,249 US, combines Compact Flash and Compact Disc recording into a single rackspace. The SS-CDR1 records in WAVE or MP3 formats to Compact Flash media for hours of recording time. Another advantage of the Flash recording is the absence of moving parts, making recording and playback reliable for years of service. The SS-CDR1 features a slot-loading CD transport for CD recording, MP3 conversion and audio transfer. It's the first CD recorder to record MP3 files – MP3 files can be written directly to CD-R discs for longer recording time.

To make installation easy, the SS-CDR1 includes balanced and unbalanced audio inputs and outputs, RS-232 and parallel control and a wired remote control. Also available are the SS-R1 for Compact Flash recording without the CD-R and the HD-R1, which replaces the CD transport with Ethernet control, microphone inputs and USB connectivity.
