Valued at $2430 US the Sabine 2.4 GHz Smart Spectrum Wireless System is a Dual Combo System with Condenser Handheld mic, Beltpack transmitter, and lavalier mic.

Sabine’s Smart Spectrum wireless systems offer 70 simultaneous channels and operate in the license-free 2.4 GHz band. That means your system is immune to TV interference and can be used anywhere in the USA – or the world! Sabine Wireless mics can easily coexist with any UHF or VHF products you may already have. Every system includes built-in digital signal processing, including the patented FBX Feedback Exterminator, parametric filters, compressor/limiter, de-esser, and Mic SuperModeling. All this makes the receiver act like the channel strip of a digital mixer, with instant recall of presets.

Sabine transmitters come with cell phone-style battery charging – charge them overnight and they are good for a full day’s use. These systems can actually pay for themselves with the money you save by not wasting batteries! That means keeping all those batteries out of the landfill, too. The contest system includes a dual-channel receiver, a Sabine handheld mic with the Voice Technologies condenser capsule, the new SW75-T beltpack transmitter, and a lavalier microphone. Sabine Wireless systems are made in the USA.

The Eagle 100 Multi-Layer Seamless Switcher from FSR has a recommended retail price of $6661 US and represents a significant step forward in seamless switching capabilities to answer the needs of today’s user.

At the heart of the Eagle 100 is a brand new high performance scaling engine that incorporates many of the capabilities that have traditionally been limited to dual scaler switchers. With 8 analog video inputs, 1 Standard Definition SDI input / HD SDI on Eagle 100HD and 1 DVI input, you can literally bring any video source into the Eagle. Traditionally, single scaler seamless switchers were limited to transitioning between 2 full screen sources. With only 1 scaler, there was no way to incorporate another source for special effects. The Eagle 100 addresses this issue by using scaled and native resolution inputs and a layered architecture.

Picture

The Eagle 100 employs a layered approach for building the program output. The deepest layer is the background layer. This is derived from the DVI input or can be set to a color. The background layer allows computer generated content to be displayed without tying up the scaler. On top of the background layer is the scaler layer. This layer derives its input from any of the analog or SDI inputs and can be used full screen, as a Picture in Picture (PIP) or as a Key. The next layer is the Down Stream Key (DSK) layer. It derives its’ input from the DVI input and is a Key on top of the other layers. This is commonly used to display text, graphics or lower thirds over a full screen video. The top most layer is the Logo Layer. The Eagle 100 can store up to 3 logos that can be recalled at any time. The logos are frame captures of the scalar layer and can be stored in temporary or non-volatile memory.
