Company Info

Canon U.S.A., Inc. will exhibit an extensive range of professional imaging products in booth C4325, including the Company’s full lineup of broadcast lenses. In the booth will be Canon’s HD studio lenses and Image-Stabilized long-zoom HD field lenses; portable HD lenses (including the first portable HD lens with built-in optical Image Stabilization); cine-style prime and zoom lenses; remote-control robotic pan/tilt/zoom HD cameras; and the Canobeam HD wireless video transceiver. Also on display will be a long telephoto portable HD lens that can be used in compact stereoscopic 3-D HD camera rigs for 3-D sports and events imaging.

Product Info

The BU-45H and BU-50H Robotic HD Pan Tilt Zoom Camera Systems are engineered to provide exceptional HD video imagery and versatile performance in many environments. The BU-50H is intended for indoor use, such as in houses of worship, legislative chambers, studio POV camera positions, indoor security areas, and more. The BU-45H features a rugged, weatherproof housing that enables it to provide superior imagery for sports, traffic, weather, and “beauty shots.”

The BU-45H’s outdoor pan-tilt head and weatherproof housing are designed for operation from -15 to +40 degrees Celsius (5 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit). The BU-45H’s housing also meets the IP-45 specifications for dust- and waterproof-efficiency and it has a “windshield wiper” blade to keep its lens port clear.

Both cameras incorporate a Canon HD camera equipped with three 1/3-inch (1.67 million-pixel) CCD sensors (1440 H x 1080 V), a Canon HD zoom lens with 20X optical zoom ratio (4.5 - 90mm), an advanced Canon Auto Focus function, and Canon’s sophisticated Image Stabilizer technology. The control protocol to operate the cameras is non-proprietary and open; users or system integrators can interface the camera with their own control system or that of third-party providers to create a robotic control system. At the Technologies for Worship pavilion, Canon is proud to be teaming with Vaddio to show the BU-45H and BU-50H camera systems operated by their ProductionVIEW Camera Controllers.
