Decade Transmitters specializes in design engineering and manufacturing of low power FM transmitters, commercially known under the DECADE trademark. What's special about DECADE transmitters is that they operate in the Commercial FM band (87.9 MHz - 107.9 MHz), so that any standard FM receiver or walkman can be used to listen to the transmitted signal, and benefit from an amazing sound quality, virtually equal to that of a compact disc. Since the receiver can be a simple, inexpensive walkman, the user doesn't have to borrow or rent a special receiver: he only needs to bring his own walkman to fully enjoy an incredible sound quality, in total quietness.
Decade’s USP (Unique Selling Proposition) for churches is that our model of transmitter MS-100 is (compact size about the size of a clock radio) widely versatile for two distinct usages in church mission outreach work.
APPLICATIONS FOR HOUSES OF WORSHIP
All over the world, Decade transmitters are used to broadcast the religious content of a celebration (mass, weddings, funerals) either inside or outside the building.
Hearing Assisted Listening: For indoor Hearing Impaired for elderly and hearing impaired congregation members during a Sunday worship service so hearing impaired members can use any simple personal walkman FM receiver device and tune in to a FM frequency to listen to the pastor’s sermon in any level of volume they wish in high quality sound. The AV technician simply connects the regular pastor’s sound microphones audio output into our MS-100 model which broadcasts within the building.
A whip extendable antenna is adjusted in length to accommodate any desired FM frequency by manual adjustment of switches for desired FM frequency selection on the rear of the model. Power and audio connections are located at the rear of the model as well.
Promotional Radio: Used for Promotion FM Radio outdoor broadcasting promotional radio announcements outside of the building (as real estate agents use) to promote activities the church is conducting in the community. This talking sign aspect can complement the church’s existing outdoor signage by simply modifying the signage to reflect that car traffic listeners can tune into a FM frequency and listen to the church’s marketing messages on their car radio or pedestrians can listen to the messages on a simple walkman portable FM receiver.
