Waves is the world’s leading developer of signal processing solutions for the professional, broadcast, and live audio markets.
Heard on hit records, major motion pictures, and popular video games worldwide, Waves’ over 100 cutting-edge software and hardware processors are used in every aspect of audio production, from tracking to mixing to mastering, broadcast, post production live, and more.
Waves products are endorsed by many of the biggest names in show business, including twelve-time Grammy® award-winner Kanye West, Comedy Central’s South Park, and 50+ million-selling rockers Linkin Park, to name but a few.
For real-rime applications, Waves offers SoundGrid Audio-over-Ethernet networking and processing technology for live sound, broadcasting, and postproduction facilities; D-Show compatible TDM plugins; and Waves MultiRack Native, the first plug-in host designed especially for live sound.

WSG-Y16 I/O INTERFACE CARD FOR YAMAHA CONSOLES
The WSG-Y16 is a mini-YGDAI card, which makes it possible to run Waves plugins on selected Yamaha mixing consoles, using Waves SoundGrid technology. Together with a switch, a server, a Mac or PC, and iLok-authorized Waves plugins, the WSG-Y16 lets you process 16 channels of audio using Waves award-winning reverbs, equalizers, compressors, limiters, delays, and more.
With a rich feature set including a redundancy and recovery safety net, MIDI control from the console, plus scalability and expandability, the WSG-Y16 is an essential asset to any compatible Yamaha mixing console.
WSG-Y16 Features
• Supports 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96 kHz sampling frequencies
• 24-bit sample resolution
• 16 channels of audio at 44.1/48kHz
• 8 channels of audio at 88.2/96kHz
• Add another card for 16/32 channel processing
• Low-latency, real-time design
• Redundancy and Recovery via SoundGrid
• MIDI port for snapshot and parameter control
• Connect to other SoundGrid-compatible devices
• Supports both native/generic and emulation modes of the YGDAI interface

SOUNDGRID BUNDLES FOR WSG-Y16
Waves is pleased to offer three fully SoundGrid-compatible plugin bundles which were hand-picked especially for FOH and Monitor engineers.
• SoundGrid Pro Bundle
SoundGrid Pro takes the 28 plugins from the SoundGrid Essentials bundle, and adds the incomparable character of Waves award-winning modeled hardware processors, including SSL 4000 Collection, CLA Classic Compressors, JJP Analog Legends, and The API Collection.
• SoundGrid Essentials Bundle
From EQ, compression, reverb, and delay to vocal tools, bass extension, limiting, and level maximization, SoundGrid Essentials includes the bread & butter plugins to cover all your critical processing needs.
• SoundGrid Prelude Bundle
12 essential SoundGrid plugins, including L1 Ultramaximizer, H-Delay, H-Comp, Renaissance Channel, Renaissance Vox, Renaissance Bass, and more.

L2 ULTRAMAXIMIZER
The L2 Ultramaximizer limiter, heard on countless hit recordings and soundtracks, has a very fast overshoot-free response that puts the sound up-front with astonishing transparency. The brick wall limiting allows users to set the actual peak level output desired and then set the threshold to make limiting and level rescaling a one-shot process. The L2 significantly increases the average signal level — and thus the perceived loudness, without introducing distortion or side effects. It can also be used in production suites like a vintage limiter for deliberate ‘pumping’ or limited dynamic range effects, and it’s perfect for standardizing the level of a broadcaster’s transmitter or internet radio feed.
For mixing, mastering, and more, the L2’s legendary combination of look-ahead brickwall peak limiting, level maximization, and ultra high resolution give you the power and extra gain you need with crystal-clear results every single time.
• Manual and ARC™ Automatic Release Control
• IDR™ Increased Digital Resolution with double precision bit resolution processing
• Up to 24bit 192kHz resolution
• Mono and Stereo components
• Supports TDM, RTAS, Audio Suite, VST, AU
• PC and Mac compatible
• bit re-quantization and dither with 9th-order noise shaping filter

C4 MULTIBAND
The ultimate multiband dynamics processor, the C4 does it all: 4-bands of up and down expansion, limiting, and compression, plus dynamic and standard EQ. Combining technologies from our acclaimed Renaissance Compressor and the powerful C1 Parametric Compander, the C4 gives you unprecedented control over the contours of your mix, with maximum clarity and transparency.
It is both a utilitarian tool (problem solver) for live and post users, and a creative shaping tool for studio mixers and sound designers.
• 4 parametric bands
• ARC™ Auto Release Control
• Double precision bit resolution processing
• Up to 24bit 192kHz resolution (TDM 24/96 Accel only)
• Mono and Stereo components
• Supports TDM, RTAS, Audio Suite, VST, AU
• PC and Mac compatible
VOCAL RIDER
Vocal Rider is the first of Waves pioneering new series of Mix tools. Simply put, Vocal Rider rides the levels of vocal tracks, automatically. Instead of manually riding the physical mixing console fader, or tediously drawing in each individual level change on a DAW track, Vocal Rider does it for you, making it a true timesaver. All you need to do is set the target range of the vocal level in relation to the rest of the mix. Then, Vocal Rider compensates for all deviations from the target, intelligently raising or lowering the vocal volume, instantly. And unlike everyday compression, Vocal Rider adds absolutely no additional coloring to the track. The new Vocal Rider Live component includes an exclusive Spill control to differentiate the vocal from background instrumentation and noise, for better tracking and performance.
• Keep steady vocal & dialog levels automatically.
• Save time by automating the vocal riding part of the mixing process.
• Write the automatic riding to an automation track for fine tuning.
• Real-Time means no latency and no pre-scan needed.
• Dedicated Vocal Rider Live component
• Up to 24bit 96kHz resolution
• Supports TDM, RTAS, Audio Suite, VST, AU
• PC and Mac compatible

MAXX BCL
From Lincoln Center to television’s American Idol, from tours with Metallica to Cirque du Soleil,
MaxxBCL is being used everywhere: In Live Sound, Broadcast, Mastering and Post Production.
MaxxBCL incorporates a set of Waves’ digital processors in a sturdy 2U rack-mount configuration to bring a range of benefits to broadcast production and transmission. Waves MaxxBCL helps broadcasters achieve deep bass that sounds impressive even on portable radio, earbuds, and smaller TVs and car radio systems. The MaxxBCL maximizes average levels for greater punch and provides level control and normalization that is ideal for all broadcast audio, including ISDN and studio/transmitter links, and for creating internet broadcast streams at maximum quality.
Three of Waves’ well-known audio processors are featured in MaxxBCL: the MaxxBass enhancer (which features a second-generation algorithm used in Waves’ Renaissance Bass); the Renaissance Compressor; and the L2 Ultramaximizer limiter. All processing is performed in a 48-bit end-to-end path.
MaxxBCL supports optical, coaxial SPDIF, AES/EBU, balanced and unbalanced line level analog signals. Built for the rigors of the road, MaxxBCL’s rugged construction handles even the toughest environments. Best of all, it’s easy to use. Its sleek precision controls and backlit display let you focus on the sound, not the box.
