The Acoustics Factor in a Worship Environment
In this class the attendee will learn about the acoustics factor and how it relates to everything from video presentation to live music and vocal performances in any type of venue. Acoustic issues affect us all, from small recording/broadcast booths to large auditoriums/arena’s, there is sure to be something for everyone. Some of the subject material covered will be: NRC values, echo, reverberation, what causes speech intelligibility loss and how to solve it, and most importantly cost vs. value of acoustical cures. You will also learn about acoustic terminology like diffusion, absorption, reflections, room modes, etc… We will finish out with Q & A session.
