Bio:
Jerrie had many years of “hands-on” experience with sound prior to his employment with TLN (WCFC-TV38) in 1979. He has always had a strong interest in the behind-the-scenes mechanics and techniques involved in making a production or project “work” as well as being part of a team. Jerrie has a full audio skill set which has been tested on large and small scale live and live-to-tape studio and location productions. With over thirty-two years of musical and recording experience on both sides of the console, Jerrie has a highly developed musical ear. Having pioneered and assumed TLN’s audio post/sweetening position in March of 2000, he has continued to act as audio mixer/audio engineer-in-charge for all studio and field productions for TLN as well as outside clients. This involves supervising various free-lance audio personnel while maintaining a heavy audio post work load. Jerrie has been a part of countless productions at TLN and is a two time Emmy nominee. His role as Audio Director has been rewarding and challenging and Jerrie looks forward to many more years with TLN.
