Bio:
Joab Perdue started his career training at an early age. Growing up with a father who was a recording engineer and inventor of specialty patent acoustics products, Joab literally cut his teeth in a recording studio and in the acoustic world. He has lived his life around live audio while personally recording material and engineering and producing projects for clients.
While pursuing his business degree, Joab began working part-time for Perdue Acoustics, his family’s acoustical design, installation, and manufacturing company. After college he began working in their sales department and apprenticing under his father in acoustical engineering and design. Now, Joab is the head of acoustical design and has successfully completed thousands of acoustical projects with very satisfied customers who give great references for his design work and acoustical expertise.
Joab also teaches business seminars on the subject of acoustics. He has a gift for teaching and loves to break down the most complex of scenarios into easy-to-understand terminology.
In addition, Joab is an accomplished guitarist, bass player, singer and songwriter. With a passion for God to change lives through the vehicle of music, he was inspired to put together a Christian rock band that toured for seven years. That passion, however, soon planted him in a much different role as the Worship Leader for Victory Church in Amarillo, TX. When he is not overseeing worship services and practice sessions for Victory Church, or taking care of his responsibilities at Perdue Acoustics, Joab teaches classes on worship and the arts within today’s church.
"There is a great excitement and anticipation at the acoustics factor seminars. All of the attendees are eager to learn and bring a lot of their experiences and real life examples to the class. I enjoy the opportunity that TFWM has given me to connect with this audience."
