BrightEye 72

Use off-the shelf monitors for high-end worship applications with the new BrightEye 72 converter. BrightEye 72 has accepts SD, HD, or 3 Gb/s video in and provides an HDMI output. The additional on-screen items are what make the BrightEye 72 useful in demanding applications. In addition to the video output, BrightEye 72 also displays open captions, allowing you to verify 608 (SD) or 708 (HD) closed caption content, Time code burn-in is provided and audio VU meters display four groups of embedded audio. Active Format Descriptor (AFD) presence is also indicated onscreen.

With BrightEye 72 just about any HDMI monitor can now be used in a high-end facility.

The horizontal and vertical shift mode provide a simple way for technical staff to look at the blanking interval and see if ancillary data is present. This is invaluable for checking the validity of a signal.

Front panel controls include: complete proc amp, built-in test signals for use in aligning the monitor, graticule, H/V pulse delay, on screen audio VU meters, time code burn in and open caption decoding. BrightEye 57

The cornerstone of every video facility is a solid video reference generator. BrightEye 57 is a sync generator and test signal generator that can provide reference signals to every piece of equipment in your plant. All of your gear needs to be timed together to work properly. Whether is older analog gear or newer HD gear, this unit can output the correct reference signal to get all of your gear timed to house.

HD or SD SDI test signals (test patterns) or black with embedded audio is output on the SDI BNCs. Composite, HD Tri-level Sync and AES digital audio outputs are also provided. There are three user Programmable Outputs that are selectable between AES, LTC, Wordclock or 6 Hz Pulse. Analog audio and AES outputs provide tone or silence.

Many controls can be adjusted through the intuitive front panel. BrightEye Mac or PC software provide a complete user interface for all adjustments and controls. BrightEye reference generators are used world wide in TV stations, churches, remote trucks, post, helicopters and fly packs.
