Perdue Acoustics’ Diffsorbers, panels, and baffles start with our patented mineral wool core. The front and back are then covered with a random strand fiberglass mat and fabric wrapped. All product cores have a melting point of 1850° F (ASTM E-136), flame spread of 0, smoke developed rating of 0, tensile strength minimum of 2631 lbs./sq.ft. breaking load, compressive resistance of 480 lbs./sq. ft. at 10% compression, and horizontal sag of not more than 1/2" in 4 ft. Panels can be fabricated with our regular edge finish or PVC trimmed edge treatment in a square, radius, or beveled edge. Our baffles are fully fabric wrapped and finished with a flap and grommets at the top edge for hanging.

Perdue Acoustics’ new Isolating Drum Booth Kit LSS-DBK is an excellent way to isolate drum kits in order to keep stage volumes at a manageable level. The Iso Drum Booth also helps to achieve better house sound by not allowing bleed-over on the drum mics, and by dramatically decreasing stage volume that would normally compete with the house mix. The Drum Booth consists of 8 - 2’x2’x4” thick acoustical panels fully wrapped as a base with 8 - 2’x4’ cast acrylic clear panels connected together with a non-slip hinge at each side. We then add a 2” thick fully fabric covered panel lid and back wall, to create undoubtedly the best drum booth on the market today. The standard booth is 8’ wide x 6’ deep and may be customized to meet your specific needs.
