Ready to Save Shooting Time? Plug into CitiDISK HDV
Time is money. And since you can't re-capture time, the CitiDISK HDV is a highly effective tool, eliminating the time consuming process of re-capturing HDV/DV footage from HDV/DV camcorder tapes into non-linear editing (NLE) systems.

CitiDISK HDV is powerful, lightweight, portable and, with its internal rechargeable battery, it connects directly to HDV/DV camcorders and captures HDV/DV footage to its miniature high-capacity hard drive and to tape simultaneously - directly from the camera's FireWire port into your choice of file-formats (.M2T, .MOV, .AVI, .DV and others). When done shooting, set your camcorder to VCR mode to "QPLAY" the last scenes on the viewfinder or simply plug it into your computer's FireWire port and edit/play directly on the digitized video at anytime.

Optimized For Video Professionals
•     With its small form-factor, high-capacity and rugged design, CitiDISK HDV is ideally suited for broadcast and video professionals in the field. Typical applications include event video, cooperate video, wedding, ceremony and etc.

Camera-Controlled HDV/DV Recording With Or Without Tape
•     Records HDV/DV streams from camcorder controlled by camera's REC button with tape, or by CitiDISK HDV's REC button without tape. Since HDV cameras are more widespread today and continue growing in popularity, CitiDISK HDV stores the MPEG2 transport stream as a M2T file, as well as DV (DV25) into the unit for immediate editing capability.

Choose Video File Format At Anytime Per NLE's Native File Format
•     Stores video clips as one of DV, AVI, MOV or M2T formats in a pre-formatted FAT32 hard drive. HDV streams are always stored in M2T format even it set otherwise.

Quick Play Last Captured Scene and Play All Captured Scences (NEW)
•     "QPLAY" last captured HDV/DV streams on viewfinder when setting camera to VCR mode. Note: Current firmware release does not support HDV video playback to viewfinder, such function will be free for user to upgrade once it is available. However, DV playback is supported.
•     Navigating history clips is also possible by "Press-n-Hold" "QPLAY" button for over three seconds.
